VA1 COAPA-WUSV *OLIVER DE CASA BUSTMANTE
PROP. R, CAPUTI - B. MARCOS

"Breeding is not simply multiply, is the art of improving"
Ing. Roberto Caputi
CHILCOA dressed up to host the 46th GSD Pan American Championship, on this occasion, for the first time ever called WUSV COAPA, attended by delegates, participants and guests from 15 countries. This great event was judged by two  of the most recognized worldwide, these are: Margit Van Dorssen and Christoph Ludwig from Germany, who met a successful day that was praised by attendees.
Our kennel DI CASA CAPUTI participated in this COAPA-WUSV SHOW with some of its best dogs, highlighting the extraordinary triumph of his young german shepherd * OLIVER DE CASA BUSTAMANTE, just two years and four months and son of the famous Latin American Athos New van Horn *. OLIVER, in a vibrant competition received the highest award that can be accessed by a German shepherd borned in America, claiming to be the first champion VA1 COAPA-WUSV 2012, to the delight of the Ecuadorian delegation and  multinational public present in Santiago de Chile.
This time we also obtained the VA2 with  Uris Godalu(JG Hernández), the  Vicechampionship with Renate Di Casa Caputi (A. Guerra-R.Caputi), SG3 with Rolan Di Casa Caputi (Mr. Zurita) and Ronda Di Casa Caputi SG9 with (L. PAZMINO - R.Caputi). We take this paragraph to congratulate Juan Carlos Farfán for the effort paid off to get the Young Pan American Championship with his young Furbo de La Casa de Apolo, handled by Roberto Jr.
In this epic all started on Wednesday  November 21st  when we set off from Quito, with the reassurance that we had chosen the best of our representative, Oliver, and had done the job training prior to consciousness, however, we knew that the competition would be extremely difficult because the participants came from the main countries of the Southern Cone. In this Coapa-WUSV were present several VA's from Argentina, Peru Sieger, Brazil Sieger, Uruguay Sieger and two VA's, and several VA Siegers from Chile, among others imported from Germany.
We arrived in Santiago on Thursday, and due to  the characteristics of a cosmopolitan city, it was not possible that Oliver and our other dogs could sleep in a proper place, so that all those days remained sleeping in their travel cages, with the discomfort that this means.

Finally, the awaited day came, that Saturday November 24th in which they were schutzdienst. Darwin Echeverría - AFRICANO, was prepared physically and mentally with his faithful OLIVER.
With the signal of the Judge Van Dorssen, the handler gave the order to sit to Oliver, took the leash and walked out fuss without the leash, until the helper faced him properly . Oliver immediately grabbed him by the schutzarm and when finished the fighting, was ordered immediately  to release by Africano, maintaining a perfect surveillance. Then came the second part at long distance, Oliver was very motivated, launched yet, and did a succesfull work to the delight of the audience. The verdict of the Judge Van Dorssen was: The handler maintains control over the dog, Courage and outstanding fighting spirit, release to the order. BEST BITE WORK of COAPA-WUSV 2012.
Then came the individual stand, Oliver made a very dynamic and energetic presentation that left us satisfied because he put the heart, however was a real competition with Top German Shepherds of the highest quality in all America´s  and nothing was said till the next day.
That Saturday night was eternal, waiting for the big day Sunday, with a forecast of dry heat to the decisive day. We could not sleep for more than three hour, we were really anxious.
Then came the big day!
Oliver, the youngest one in the working class, was called third among nearly 30 competitors, just behind the argentine Tayson McLodi and  the german nationalized argentine Hulk Carrara , and so,  spent about four laps until Hulk was just promoted to first place and Oliver to the SECOND . It was very exciting, all the argentinian people were clapping to  Tayson and Hulk, while Chile's friends did for his two representatives and VA's Ayak  Hausan Lit and Gandi Stuttgart. More and more rounds ... and Oliver was really doing his best job, as his firmness of hocks and ligaments in general showed why wordlwide all GSD specialsits look for better rear angulations as well as firmness.
Then came the time  of trotting around with leash and then without leash. Africano was cool, came to get the third place in the  10km race in Quito, Oliver did not even remember that he had slept three days in an uncomfortable transport cage. Hulk to the head, then Oliver, and the judge said: " trot a full round in the corner ", Oliver started his movement with a lot of power, pushing at all times, but elegantly, without falling into the provocation, just proving he had  a Formula 1 machine and he deserved the glory. And so, at the end of the round with leash, the judge made the expected signal and said raising his right hand to move to first place, which was celebrated wildly by Ecuadorians and audience.
Upon return without leash, all was almost done, alongside Africano,  Oliver literally left the dust, so much  that in the final he had the luxury of raising their hands and dancing while jogging and enjoying because of the tens of meters ahead of their excellent competitors , that this time escorted Oliver.
After the parallelism, Africano and Oliver printed two laps of a half pass overwhelmingly. They walked, walked, walked, until the judge said STOP, and all was done!

See you next!
